What a showing! I'm happy for him and his family, this was a fun game.

I am most pleased by how well he rotated for help defense. He doesn't look as althetic as he used to be in Blazer, understandly after such a major injury and not playing for more than a year. But he gets to the right position at the right time, it's like his athleticism is compromised but he is turning into a smarter and more reliable defender.

I was at the game. His jumper looked pretty polished and his energy on the boards was solid. If I’m not mistaken he had 2 or 3 offensive rebounds his first few minutes in. I’m far from an nba scout but he seemed to struggle defensively at the five here and there. He played well against Sengun but he doesn’t impress me. All in all I think he’s certainly worth giving time to see how he fits in

Showed his versatility. Might take more games to get back the athleticism and trust on his feet, as he got beat by quick bigs like Sengun earlier, but his positioning is reliable. I wish he can play the 4.

He ran the floor really hard. His straight-line speed actually looked pretty good considering he's only suited up for about a dozen games over the last six hundred days. His post defense was a little shaky. His hips looks really stiff and his side to side quickness was non-existent but again that's totally understandable. One thing I likes from him is he looks really sturdy on the boards. The Rockets had a hard time moving him on the defensive and offensive end and he almost always had a hand in the action even when he didn't get the rebound.

He seems to have Natural Instincts on the pick-and-roll as he made some really good cuts that are guards missed for easy layups and dunks, and he came over pretty well with his help-side defense on several occasions. If is verticality returns at all, because he was completely ground-bound last night, he could be a real issue defensively.

Zach Collins played in his first game in almost 1.5 years and showed us a little bit of everything (layups, midrange, and the three ball). In a log jam full of wings, Collins is a much needed addition to the Spurs' balance, a 7-footer that can spread the floor, run the floor, and block shots.

Spurs played great team basketball tonight with a lot of drive and kicks, leading to open threes. They had 33 assists tonight and continue to lead the league with 27 assists per game as a team.

The Rockets are young, talented but my god the majority of the team have terrible body language. Constant whining and complaining which leads to inconsistent effort. Throwing their hands up when things don’t go their way and not getting back on defense.

Also, Wood is setting bad example for the young team. He is the primary scorer (the only borderline star in the team), but his body language and lack of effort in defense are giving pass to the young players to be passive.

Thoughts on your team this year? I honestly haven't watched a ton of Rockets basketball this year but there's some good talent on this team, are the issues anything more than just this team is young and scrappy and just need time?

Yeah, we get in foul trouble early and we don’t really have offensive plays set. For the most part we rely on raw talent from the youngins in the first half usually and the second is when the vets come out to clean up. We have a bunch of rookies starting and getting good minutes but they’re so inexperienced. We had my favorite rookie Josh Christopher guard Dejounte tonight and I thought he played well.
