John Wall is now the NBA's all-time leader in blocks by a point guard.Wall has 427, beating out Jason Kidd's 425.

Top 5: John Wall(427),Jason Kidd(425),Magic Johnson(361),Baron Davis(360),Nate McMillan(332)

Wall is still a ways away from the top of the list for guards in general. He places 14th among all guards. Interestingly, Jason Kidd has more career blocks than him, but fewer as a PG since in Kidd's

final season with NYK, he is classified as a shooting guard.

Dwyane Wade holds the record for guard blocks with 885 blocks.

加上得分后卫后，沃尔离榜首的位置还有一段距离，他现在排名全后卫第14位。有趣的是，基德生涯总封盖数比他多，但以控球后卫身份计算却比较少。这是因为基德在尼克斯的最后一个赛季是被统计为得分后卫。

I get everyone makes fun of him now, but Wall really is/was a tremendous shot blocker for a PG. has even made weak side rotations to block shots at the rim in the half court while on Washington.

Man, it's really shitty what's happened with his health and career. Fans shouldn't make fun of players who get hurt because that's mostly beyond their control。

Maybe I'm the only one but I was surprised the best shooting guards have twice as many blocks as the point guards. Thought it would be closer.

SG has much more range in length which helps. Conversely I'm sure PGs have way more steals than sgs.

Some sg were actually just wing players that could play sf. I believe are 5 of those "sg" could and have played some minutes at sf.

Considering he's only played effectively 7 and a half seasons it really makes this stat more impressive.

John Wall in his athletic prime was an absolute freak of nature. I'm glad he holds this record because I feel like his injury and contract diminished what his career actually was. He always turned it up a notch in the playoffs too. His 2017 run was underrated.
