The Kings have fired coach Dave Joerger a day after the team concluded its best season in more than a decade.

Amick reported Divac would also fire assistant general manager Brandon Williams, who clashed with Joerger in an embarrassing spat earlier this season.

Reports that Joerger and Williams would be fired surfaced in the hours after Divac agreed to a four-year contract extension with the team.
