Via sources: TNT will no longer air the Players Only NBA broadcast. Turner Sports will likely do some Players Only content but as far as games for the 2019-20 season, the Players Only broadcast on TNT is no more.

He's corny and kind of dull, but he's not a bad color commentator by any means. He doesn't fuck up details and info from their stats guy, he speaks fluently, and has a good sense of when he should or shouldn't talk.

CWebb, on the other hand, is…not good haha

Reggie talks like an old dad. Considering he was such a trash talker back in his playing days, you have to wonder if the players hated him cos he would say such mean but corny things to them.

Players Only is widely considered to be much worse than normal broadcasts. They only have previous NBA players as the broadcasters and sideline reporters...and they aren’t very good at it.

The problem is that it wasn't just former NBA players. It was former NBA players that couldn't get a regular commentary job otherwise. Lots of local broadcasts have former players but those aren't the people that end up on Players Only.

I don’t know about that, Isiah Thomas is everywhere, unfortunately. I think the bigger issue is that without an Ernie Johnson type herding the cats, they couldn’t keep on topic.
