So that's the title race over I guess. Dortmund really missed Reus and Witsel today. Pretty strange substitutions from Favre. Delaney looked great and was winning the physical duels. Hakimi was quite poor as well. Alphonso Davies seems to be the rack deal. He looks comfortable on the ball and those defensive recoveries were amazing. Burki should have saved that goal.

But at the end of the day, I feel VAR didn't do its job well. There were quite a few warranted penalty claims from both sides

Well part of the problem is that Dortmund and Leipzig still play each other. So even if one team wins that and all other remaining matches, you'd have to drop points in 3 or 4 matches of 6 remaining. Really only a hypothetical chance imo

As we were in our final U19s season, they let a few of us practice with the men’s from time to time. In the scrimmage one of the better U19s that would later join the men’s side chipped the keeper to score. The keeper then told him he’ll break his legs if he ever tries that again. I always think of that when I see someone chipping it

I think his starting position was awful--inviting Kimmich to try the lob--and he did quite well to recover. That said, he got enough of a hand to the ball to be able to save it. Overall, poor keeping, imo.

I don't think it's fair to say his starting position was awful. Lobs in that situation are difficult and rare, and he still almost got it. Being more forward makes it significantly easier to stop all other shots by cutting off angles.
