100%, its really sad to see some fans turn on him so quickly. The man was traded to Houston against his own desires but still completely embraced the city and team for the prime of his career.

大实话没毛病，看到部分球迷这么快就已经开始和哈登翻脸，真是挺心寒的。当初胡子被交易到休斯顿时，这事原本就并非他的本意，即便如此哈登还是义无反顾地将最好的时光给了这座城市、这支球队。

What he's doing right now is really uncharacteristic and I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that something went down behind the scenes. He's not the only one who had desires to leave the franchise, he's just the last one left. He will always be one of my fave players of all time no matter what.

不过这段时间哈登的所作所为的确和他的人设背道而驰，但我觉得在媒体和大众看不到的地方一定发生了什么。从一开始哈登就不是唯一想要离开的火箭球员，但他却是目前唯一剩下的那个。不管最后结果如何，他始终都是我心目中最佳的球员之一。

If I get asked who my favorite player is I never say James (usually say pj or something) but the truth is is that deep down it’s probably James

I’m mad at the organization. Harden has his flaws, as does everyone. But he’s a generational talent and we damn near beat the most stacked team ever, when the rest of the league was taking a year off.

火箭队是真心让我抓狂。虽然哈登有哈登的问题，但谁身上没有问题，论篮球才能大胡子可是独一档，当初我们差一点就击败了那支宇宙队啊，而那时除了火箭还在抗勇外其他联盟球队基本上差不多都选择了摆烂。

I hope people don’t forget that. I suspect that 2017-2019 Rockets team might even gain a bit of respect as time goes on. Like when I watch highlights of that team, even I’m like ”holy shit that team was pretty legit” but at the time I took it for granted because we were still major underdogs

I agree to an extent. I won't be as forgiving if he acts up or we don't get good value because of his request.

部分同意。不过如果哈登新赛季表现不佳，又或者我们没能从交易中获益的话，那我就要有微词了。

Yes he played great for the Rockets, but let's not use that fact to ignore the several other things he did wrong including

Commitment to being 100% passive when not handling the ball and then not caring about most fast break defenses

Demanding for specific Star players, and then asking the org to dump them for another preferred star player every 1-2 years

Inability to adjust his style for the sake of the team

Dictated everything that the team should be doing including workout schedule, unscheduled breaks, when they fly, passing by extracurricular cities between games, teammates, coaching staff, etc.

Literally gave up at various playoff moments like the time Josh Smith had to hard carry the Rockets while Harden had to be benched because he no longer gave any effort

These are all critical points that Rockets fans pointed out for years already. His good points don't erase his bad points. Why are we so willing to dump on Melo for some of the above criticisms but are not as willing to dump on harden for some similar reasons?

哈登在火箭的表现的确可圈可点，但不能因为这样就忽略了他所犯下的一些错误：

. 在无球进攻、以及防守对方快攻时的表现堪称消极

. 介入球队交易，指名要求得到某位球员，然后又在一两年后再次要求球队交易该名球员

. 不会为了球队而改变自身比赛风格

. 干预球队日常管理，包括训练安排，休息调整，出行时间，行程计划，队员以及教练组管理等等方面

. 季后赛关键时刻掉链子，就说当年季后赛打快船，那可是鹰王拼了命才把我们扛进了西决，那场最后哈登可是被牢牢按在了板凳上，就是因为麦克海尔觉得他不给力

这么多年了，哈登的这些缺陷对于火箭球迷而言都已经算得上老生常谈。瑕不掩瑜，反之亦然，当年我们可正是因为这些缺点才最终选择弃用了甜瓜，而今天当对象换做哈登时我们却无法做出割舍？
