Very interesting, never seen that quote before. I know she was heavily involved in his extension, but I guess that was more an advisor role.

Point is that Harden clearly needs someone influential in his life to check him on shit like this. Harden representing Harden is starting to affect his employer, his teammates, and mostly himself.

This is why I'm so glad there was no social media when I was young. Everybody so desperately wants their likes they got to post every little thing and wind up blowing up people's spots. Guess I'm just an old head but we grew up knowing that if you're doing something you maybe shouldn't be doing you don't go publicizing it and you don't rat anyone else out either. Youth today got no code.

That said, James is ultimately the one at fault. He should've known better. That's great if you want to support your friend's come up, but you can express that support without fucking things up for yourself and your team.

很庆幸当年我放浪形骸的时候还没有社交媒体这个玩意。现在的人啊，动不动屁大点事就要弄个自拍，然后传到网上就为了拿几个赞，结果往往又搞的是鸡飞狗跳。我想我大概真是活久见了，在我们这把年纪的人看来，如果你非要搞一些上不了台面的事情，那你就应该低调一点、也别让人知道。但如今的年青人却完全不是这个路子。话虽如此，这件事的确错在哈登，他应该再好好想想，挺朋友场子原本无可厚非，但还有其他更好的方法和途径，而不是把你自己和整支球队弄的乌烟瘴气。

at this point, it’s starting to get VERY embarrassing not only for James Harden himself but also the team/management. Today’s literally the season-opener and he’s still acting like it, i get that he’s discontent staying here but he should at least try to act professional until he gets traded or something.
