I am 50 years old and I can safely say this is the best West Ham team of my lifetime. I still remember the FA Cup being paraded when I was a kid and never did I think back then that the future would be so barren. However, silverware or no, this side is absolutely loved like no other. Top lads throughout. A mix of spirit and skill like no other. They have made a non-football stadium into a damn fortress. Just hear that crowd. It’s fucking electric. The lack of squad depth will undoubtedly fuck us in the end but we’re giving bloody noses all the way. Almost the entire team is from lower leagues, academy or rural Czechia. Not a single Billy Big Bollocks amongst them. I couldn’t love them more.
