Yeah that is exactly what I do not get in this league. Why can't they allow the on field ref to make the final decision by looking at all possible angles... the very first replay they showed looked like it was a foul. But they don't even show that angle ever again, which is confusing. They think that in every other angle the ball changes direction and come to the conclusion that it isn't a foul.

We were completely outplayed.

Dicey penalty to bring us back into it, which results in Gabriel’s first yellow, which means the second is a sending off.

Arsenal supporters will rightly feel hard done by. Credit to their team though, they played through us, played around us, and gave us absolutely nothing resembling a clean chance from open play for basically a full 100 minutes, even after going down to ten men.

If you’re not convinced by Arteta yet, I have absolutely no idea what else to tell you.

Another game ruined by terrible refereeing. No consistency in calling penalties, no yellows for City despite a few brutal challenges (Rodri on Martinelli, anyone?). Arsenal just can’t catch a break, even when dominating.

Still reeling a bit from all of that. Probably the most exciting game we've played all season. And also a game of extremes; we had some shocking moments and some amazing moments. Sometimes from the same player.

Credit to Liverpool, they capitalised on the mistake by Chalobah and then Salah showed why he's probably the best player in the League. Ridiculous finish from there. And you even expected it. Meanwhile, our forwards still can't seem to shoot.

Yeah, I suppose City do gain a 10 point lead (8 if Liverpool win their game in hand) but they've likely won the League again. Their entire footballing structure is too good. And whilst I think they have been lucky to be not decimated by Covid, they are by far the best team in the League.
