I don’t want to think the nba is rigged but man it feels like any time there can be a narrative of greatness it’s always a sure thing.

The narrative always happens. Almost a 3 hour game from whistles. We played down right scared but 2 less fouls and this game is ours.

I just don’t see a world where we fouled them that much more down the stretch y’all can think what you want but you can’t justify the officials tonight to me.

You can’t say we weren’t attacking the paint. The contact was there it was not called on one end. It doesn’t justify the collapse but 20 extra free throws is insane

We were intentionally fouling them at the end. If you take out the 8 FT where we intentionally fouled them, they would have 14. Still double our attempts, but not inconceivable. I do feel like the refs missed a few fouls in our favor at the end, but that is not way we lost. We lost because we choked, and we will continue to choke.

I’m not saying we didn’t choke legitimately think the difference was the calls. 40 free throws for 1 team in a game of basketball is ridiculous.

We’ve been choking I think the choke tonight was exasperated by bad calls. That’s my entire point.

It’s 100% on us and we blew it but the refs helped hammer the point home on a night that gives the nba a great narrative. At this point those stories always happen when they want them to.
