Zhou was P9 before the safety car. With the gap behind him, he could have finished comfortably at P9. But out of safety car, after pitting, he was P13. He had a really nice fight with his childhood idol Alonso in the last 2 laps.

Argubly, he lost points (from P9 to P10) but I guess he will not mind at all now.

Absolutely deserve it!

And what the fuk was the race start for both Alfa Romeos? Ridiculous!

Bottas also had his fair share of bad starts. Get used to is, you’ll see the two Alfas doing a lot of overtakes this season.

For real, and he will only get better. Excellent start to his F1 career in my eyes, and its so nice seeing a competent rookie and even Mick and Albon were putting in some slick work. Gonna be an interesting season for all teams.

Zhou mentioned in the interview there was some problem with the car so he needed to put it back to neutral and basically start again.

Bottas said in the Finnish interview that they have had random vibrations with the clutch during starts and it happened again tonight, causing him wheelspin which overheated the tires for the first lap. Don't know if it happened to Zhou too.

He was the best and probably the cleanest overtaker in the f2 grid. Ballsy passes but I can't remember a single dirty move in his f2 stint. I would rather have Piastri but I think that cars that can follows so close each other really suit his driving style.

Solid debut for a rookie. Really really solid. Not a mistake or a dirty move. I'm really inpressed.
