After Barcelona could not sign Arda Güler, they started working immediately with Deco and Mateu Alemany at the helm. Noah Darvich was the chosen one. The club had been monitoring him since a while but the operation was accelerated in July.

There was total consensus at the club for Darvich. All reports had approval and his performances in the U17 Euros were clarifying.

Various Barça executives travelled to Germany to meet with the player, his entourage and Freiburg. He did not need any convincing and Barça managed to beat competition from Bayern, PSG and Manchester City to sign him.

Darvich will join Barça Atlètic with projection for the first team. In the next days he will undergo medicals with Barça.
