利拉德近日做客了一档名为《It Is What It Is》的播客节目，谈及NBA历史最佳控卫等相关话题时，他表示会把魔术师摆在历史最佳控卫的人选上。谈到库里，他认为依照勇士使用库里的方式，在库里的两个MVP赛季里，比起控卫，他打得更像一个得分后卫，而追梦格林更像是球队进攻的策动者。
