北京时间6月1日，The Athletic勇士跟队记者Anthony Slater撰写专栏文章报道，有迹象表明，勇士管理层打算积极运作，甚至愿意重组核心阵容。

Slater表示，即使鹈鹕球星布兰登-英格拉姆进入交易市场，勇士应该也不会产生兴趣。但如果热火想要交易吉米-巴特勒，据消息人士透露，勇士会或多或少地参与交易讨论。此前，巴特勒与热火的续约谈判陷入僵局。
