1.Relevo:西甲计划于 12 月 20 日至 22 日在迈阿密硬石体育场举行第 18 轮巴塞罗那对阵马德里竞技的比赛。

La Liga are planning for Barcelona vs Atlético Madrid in matchday 18 of La Liga between 20-22 December to be played in Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Although it is still a very early idea, both Barça and Atleti are in favour of this initiative by Javier Tebas. It would mean a interesting cash injection for both clubs.

La Liga are yet to submit this proposal to the RFEF though but Tebas does not wany to fail this time. An important meeting with the Spanish Footballers’ Association is also pending.

La Liga are also working on another project which would involve Barcelona, Atlético Madrid and more foreign clubs playing a friendly tournament in Abu Dhabi in January 2025. Joan Laporta and Atleti President Enrique Cerezo have approved this and Tebas is studying with associates.

The International Football Association Board (IFBA) has recently changed regulations regarding the captain’s armband requiring it be of a single colour with the word ‘Captain’ in any language or the letter ‘C’, unless it is regulated by the organisation of a competition.

However, La Liga - the organiser here - have allowed Barcelona to wear the ‘Senyera’ captain’s armband after a request from the club. Girona and Espanyol will also be able to use it.
