Despite these offensive actions being widely exposed, Manchester City's official social media channels have persistently promoted Oasis-themed merchandise and content since July 3, 2025, including two separate posts glorifying the band on the same day the racist incidents gained global attention . This is not only insensitive but complicit in normalizing anti-Asian racism.

As a club that claims to value its global fanbase and has actively cultivated commercial ties in China—including partnerships with Chinese brands and engagements with Chinese celebrities like Karry Wang—this hypocrisy is unacceptable . The absence of any official statement condemning Gallagher's behavior or terminating the collaboration sends a clear message: Manchester City prioritizes commercial gains over the dignity of its Asian supporters.

I demand the following actions from Manchester City's headquarters (not the regional operations team):

1. An unconditional public apologyfrom the club's ownership and senior management, explicitly addressing Gallagher's racism toward Chinese/Asian people;

2. Immediate terminationof all promotional activities related to Oasis;

3. A commitment to anti-racism measures, including educational initiatives for staff and players on combating anti-Asian discrimination.

Failure to address this appropriately will result in organized boycotts from Chinese fans and escalation to international human rights bodies.
